TCK summer camp sessions are structured activities in art and acting. Campers are kept interested with integration of new creative ideas, the content and activities of each camp week will vary based on weekly themes. Programs are designed for ages 6-13 (rising 1st graders to 8th graders).
Full Day Art & Acting Camp (Mon-Wed 9am – 4:30pm; Thu 9-6pm; Fri 9-Noon) Fee $300/session
Half Day Art Camp (Mon-Fri 9am-Noon) Fee $185/session
Half Day Acting Camp (Mon-Wed 1-4:30pm; Thu 1-6pm) Fee $185/session
July 4th Week – Daily Camp (Mon, Tue, Thu & Fri 9am-4pm) Fee $80/Full Day & $45/Half Day
Friday Summer Bonanza Every Friday for campers only (1-4pm); Fee $30/camper

Art Camp Theme Description
Travel with Art
Campers will explore a variety of arts from around the world and advance their artistic skills with projects such as paint desert landscapes in the style of Georgia O’Keefe, create art inspired by ancient Egypt, and even create their own Japanese woodblock print.
Pop Art
Campers will expand their artistic skills as they create artwork inspired by popular culture, like mythical creatures and fantasy landscapes, Manga art, and comic strip illustration.
Color Splash
Campers will explore the captivating world of color with a variety of projects inspired by artists such as Jackson Pollock and Andy Warhol. They produce abstract art, mix media, & works of art using color to express emotion.
Nature and Space Exploration
From creating a surrealistic representation of outer space, to learning about design and build their own space ship, the campers will explore science and nature as a source of inspiration and work with 2 and 3-Dimensional art projects.
Design Mania
Campers will explore a series of fun, colorful 2-Dimensional and 3-Dimensional projects. They will try their hand at manipulating negative space in the manner of M.C. Escher, create op art design, and incorporate linear & one point perspective into a drawing.
Daily Art
Campers will be presented with a special treat of getting to experience a selection of the all time favorite arts and crafts that kids love at TCK.
Acting Camp Theme Description
Musical comedy
Fracturing fairy tales: creating short original musicals based on familiar fairy tales. Music may be from existing sources or original.
Pandora's box
Greek myths released: campers create and improvise stories based on the timeless Greek stories
The Era of Silent Film
Developing their skill in pantomime, stories are acted out totally without the spoken word.
Mirrors-Gateway to Other Worlds
Great literature has used mirrors in many different ways from Alice's Through the Looking Glass to modern Science Fiction. Campers explore the literature and create their own tributes to "the mirror"
Improvisation and Comedy
Campers explore how to improvise comic situations through improvisation techniques and theatre games.
Purely Improv
This week, because of the holiday, we decided to give campers the option of enrolling on a daily basis, and they will be experiencing a selection of the all time favorite improvisational games and activities that kids love at TCK.
Weekly Camp Events
Artwork Display – Every day a selection of campers’ artwork will be on display to enjoy
Acting Performance – Thursdays at 6pm, parents and family are invited to enjoy the presentation
Wednesday Pizza – Cheese Pizza from Domino’s. A popular event in the past with full day campers
Friday Summer Bonanza – On each Friday campers wrap up the week with a fun packed structured games & activities, cool summer treats, raffle and prizes

Camp Hours, Important & General information
- Low student-teacher ratio 8:1 or better
- TCK instructors are professional teaching artists and experienced with students (K-12)
- Multiple camp weeks Discount – 2 weeks 5%; 3 weeks 10%; 4+ weeks 15%
- 5% Sibling discount for each camper
- 25% nonrefundable deposit required to reserve space, which is counted toward the total amount
- Nonrefundable registration fee $25/child or $35/family
- Remaining camp fees due 3 weeks prior to the camp week start date
- Campers to bring in lunch and snacks (must be peanuts and tree nuts free)
- Certified CPR and first aid staff will be present during all camp hours

- Emergency contact form is required on the first day of the camp.
