TCK instructors have designed the creative writing program to focus on writing as an art form. Students learn to use creative writing method and storytelling elements to illustrate and frame their story. Students will use descriptive language to add content and make their writing flow and transition smoothly. Beginners will work on developing creative writing skills by incorporating beginning, middle and end, in addition to organizing their story parts into a logical sequence. Advanced students use a wide range of strategies to construct and develop their stories, using research material, personal thoughts and pop culture to develop and formulate their story, journalistic report, dialogue and/or genre. TCK experienced instructors will guide students using national guidelines and industry standards for teaching English. Instructors will facilitate an encouraging and fun environment for students to enjoy and learn.
