Fine Arts
The lessons are designed to promote children's interest in learning about arts, types of arts, artists, mediums, styles, and tools. The teacher presents new concepts or techniques in short lessons and reinforces learning one-on-one or in small groups. Students have access to materials, tools, and resources in prepared areas throughout the classroom and are responsible for setting up and cleaning up their own workspaces, and pursuing and sharing their own creative passions. Student artwork will be displayed throughout the center for parents to see and at the end of each project children will take their artwork home.
Students will learn about fine art methods, history, drawing, painting, sculpture, and design concepts through hands-on projects.
